A new improv show inspired by the BBC TV series Ghosts and built on the bones of the popular Close Quarters format. Performers will play ghosts from various eras who have essentially been room mates for centuries as they continue to haunt the location where all of them met their end.
From an improv point of view, the form offers great opportunities. Historical costuming, a single theatrical location to explore and the restriction that as the ghosts can’t touch or affect the living world - all the drama and comedy must come from their relationships with each other.
The Show is created and directed by Chris Mead who is a renowned improv director, performer and teacher from the United Kingdom.
It will be performed by an international Ensemble that came to Karlsruhe just for this project.
